The publication “Advanced Business Development Services for Strengthening the Capacities of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” was prepared within the project Advanced Business Development Services for Strengthening SME Capacities and provides an overview of available traditional and alternative financing sources, as well as support programmes intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Montenegro.
The document aims to present a structured overview of financial instruments and support mechanisms available to the SME sector, including programmes financed by the European Union, the Government of Montenegro, bilateral programmes, as well as selected programmes of decentralised administrations and local self-government units. The publication includes information on bank loans, state funds, innovative financing solutions such as crowdfunding, and other relevant support programmes.
The publication was prepared for the needs of the Government of Montenegro. The content of the document is the sole responsibility of the contracting authority and does not in any way reflect the views of the European Union. The report was produced in October 2024, with the financial support of the European Union, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and WEglobal.
