The publication “Guide to BUZZing about the European Union” is intended for young people who wish to gain a better understanding of the European Union, its values, its functioning, and Montenegro’s European integration process. The guide provides basic information on the establishment and development of the European Union, its institutions, the rights and opportunities arising from EU citizenship, as well as Montenegro’s accession negotiations with the European Union.
The document is designed as an educational resource that encourages critical thinking, informed reflection, and debate on topics related to the European Union. A dedicated section of the guide focuses on the concept of “BUZZing”, debate topics on the EU, and practical tips and rules for organising and conducting debate activities in schools.
The Guide to BUZZing about the European Union was developed within the EUbuzz: Debate Competition on EU Topics in Secondary Schools campaign, implemented by the Ministry of European Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, with the financial support of the European Union through the EU4ME project. The author of the guide is Melita Rastoder-Ljaić and it is published in 2024.
