The Union of Municipalities of Montenegro
has launched a public call for the allocation of EUR 565,000 for the implementation of development projects of interest to local self-government units for this year.
The maximum amount of funds approved per local self-government unit is EUR 31,388.89. The right to participate is granted to municipalities that are beneficiaries of the Equalization Fund, namely: Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Danilovgrad, Žabljak, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Nikšić, Plav, Pljevlja, Rožaje, Ulcinj, Šavnik, Petnjica, Gusinje, Plužine, Tuzi, and Zeta.
The funds subject to allocation may be used for the preparation and revision of contracted technical documentation for the construction or reconstruction of local infrastructure, including: feasibility and/or cost-effectiveness studies, conceptual designs, preliminary designs, main designs, revised main designs, as-built project documentation, and other types of technical documentation.
Municipalities may submit applications for multiple development projects, up to the maximum available funding amount. The required application forms and guidelines are available on the website of the Union of Municipalities.
A decision on submitted applications will be made within five days from the date of submission.
