EIT Urban Mobility Opens Call for Innovative Urban Mobility Projects

Open Calls visuals 06

European Mobility Week, held from 16 to 22 September, once again highlighted the importance of sustainable, accessible and inclusive transport in our cities.

Following the activities through which numerous Montenegrin municipalities took part in European Mobility Week, we are sharing information from the EU4ALL project about an opportunity for local governments seeking to turn these objectives into concrete solutions.

The EIT Urban Mobility Strategic Innovation Open Call provides an opportunity to develop and test innovative solutions in cooperation with international partners.

Local governments can participate as project partners, end users of solutions, and locations for piloting and demonstrating new solutions, together with companies, universities, research organisations and other partners.

The call covers areas such as:

  • public transport;
  • urban logistics;
  • data and digital mobility solutions;
  • transport electrification and alternative fuels;
  • health and mobility.

Funding of up to EUR 2 million is available per project, with EIT support covering up to 65% of eligible costs.

The next cut-off date is 28 January 2027.

What does “cut-off date” mean?

The call remains open over a longer period but includes several deadlines for the submission and evaluation of applications. Projects submitted by a particular cut-off date enter that evaluation cycle, while projects that are not yet ready can be prepared for a subsequent deadline.

Looking for international partners?

You can connect with potential international partners through the Mobility Innovators platform.
