The URBACT IV programme, dedicated to sustainable urban development through connecting cities and strengthening their capacities, is once again opening a new opportunity this year for European cities to exchange experiences and jointly work on improving the quality of life of their citizens.
A new opportunity to join the programme will come on March 17, when the Call for Action Planning Networks will be published, and it will remain open until June 17, 2026.
Detailed conditions of the call will be available on the official programme website immediately after its publication. In the meantime, the Ministry of European Affairs is organizing an Info Day, which will be held on March 27, 2026, at the Hilton Hotel in Podgorica. Applications for participation are open via the registration link here.

In addition to the event in Podgorica, the national URBACT points for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia are also organizing an online info session, scheduled for April 7, 2026. The registration link will be subsequently delivered to potential partners. This session is organized in cooperation with the URBACT Programme Joint Secretariat, and the presentation about the call itself will be delivered by Kristijan Radojčić. On that occasion, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive additional clarifications about the application process and participation in the networks.
In order to provide interested cities and institutions with the best possible support, the Joint Secretariat also plans a series of additional informational workshops dedicated specifically to this call for Action Planning Networks.
