The URBACT Programme has launched a Call for Action Planning Networks, open from 17 March to 17 June 2026. The call is intended for local stakeholders ready to implement concrete actions in their communities, in line with their strategies and action plans.
The Call for Action Planning Networks enables cities to implement urban strategies through a set of concrete activities tailored to local contexts, with the aim of achieving sustainable urban development. Cities from the 27 EU Member States, as well as partner countries (Norway, Switzerland, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Moldova and Ukraine), are invited to apply.
An URBACT Action Planning Network consists of 6 to 8 partner cities. With expert support and additional funding for implementation, partners will embark on a two-and-a-half-year journey of learning and exchange with European peers, in order to prepare their Action Plans. This process includes capacity building, knowledge sharing, and increased visibility at the European level.
